Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic LVN to join our wellness practice. Must have good IV skills as you will be doing a lot of IV Drip therapies. We specialize in the holistic, integrative, regenerative, and anti-aging management of the patient and within this scope often see patients who are seen multiple times a week for various therapies. Someone who is available on Mondays 9am-5pm and then the 2nd Friday of every month 9am-5pm.

Under the direct supervision of a physician, the LVN provides nursing care in accordance with the legal scope of practice and within established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice and treats coworkers, patients, families, and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect.

Job Duties:

• Administer IV therapy as directed by staff physicians following company policy and procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Responsible for obtaining vitals and medical histories
• Updating patient medication history
• Instructs patients about medication, diets, procedures, and office flow
• Administers and prepares non-narcotic medications as directed by the provider
• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning exam rooms
• Complete department-specific jobs and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in an outpatient setting or physician's office is desired
• At least 2 years of consecutive experience administering IV Drip Therapy
• Graduate from an accredited school or program of vocational nursing
• Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• IV Therapy Certification required
