Job Description: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. This position requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections according to established schedules.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Utilize PLC knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues with automated systems.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in training programs to stay current on industry best practices and technology advancements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting a plus
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing automated machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
