The RAND Survey Research Group (SRG) is seeking a Survey Assistant to assist survey coordinators and survey directors with various tasks in support of data collection projects. The position requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing and Bilingual Spanish is required; the ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Recruit study sites
- Recruit study participants
- Assist with oversight of interviewers and lead interview teams
- Conduct environmental scans of the literature and assist with formal lit reviews
- Assist with instrument development and testing
- Code open-ended survey responses and transcripts from qualitative interviews
- Support focus groups and cognitive interviews
- Maintain meeting minutes and project notes
- Contribute to project documentation
- Generate item frequencies and cross tabulations from data files
- Other project tasks as appropriate
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish English preferred
- Microsoft Office experience; experience with Excel spreadsheets required
- Must be able to work as part of a research team and independently; good written and oral communication skills and judgment required
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience with primary data collection a plus
- Minimum experience of less than one year is acceptable; one year or more years of experience preferred

This position is a flex (hybrid) position allowing for up to two days of work from home per week.
Pay Range
$50,900-$73,800
