**Responsibilities :**

* Organizes, cleans and sanitizes dining rooms (including tables and chairs) and pantry areas in accordance with departmental and regulatory agency standards.

* Sets up and breaks down resident dining rooms before and after each meal service.

* Sets up and delivers evening snacks to neighborhood pantries.

* Prepares trays and/or plates with resident meals accurately and in accordance with resident preference and facility menu program.

* Offers substitute menu items per resident request in a timely manner.

* Records food and equipment temperatures, food leftovers and food waste after each meal. Takes appropriate corrective action as indicated.

* Documents pantry equipment temperatures, removes any outdated food items, informs supervisor of any unused evening snacks.

* Attends daily shift meeting for information of food ingredients, allergens and substitutions

* Completes daily sanitation assignments and cleans throughout the meal service so that all work areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and safe manner.

* Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and returns clean service ware to proper, safe and sanitary storage location.

* Other duties as assigned.
