Wolfe Electric Co., Inc. is looking for Warehouse Associate applicants to assist in project coordination within the Commercial, Service, Industrial and Residential Electrical Construction Industry.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will sort incoming gears and fixtures for distribution to different job sites; pick up delivered shop owned tools; pick up supplies for Journeyman and Wiremans needs on job sites; repair and maintain temporary power units and lighting; manage supply warehouse receivables and perform general facility maintenance.

**Warehouse Associate**

**Duties and Responsibilities**

* Assist Project Managers/Estimators and Foreman in the coordination of supplies in the warehouse and at job sites to complete Electrical Contracting project work.

* Sort incoming gears and fixtures for distribution to different job sites.

* Pick up delivered shop owned tools and equipment.

* Pick up supplies for Journeyman and Wiremans needs on job sites.

* Repair and maintains temporary power units, equipment, and tools.

* Manages supply warehouse receivables and inventory control.

* Ability to effectively communicate with supply houses to accomplish tasks.

* Performs general maintenance of facility, lawn, and fleet vehicles by location.

* Must keep all materials, tools and equipment and warehouse overall in an orderly fashion.

* Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches, drills etc.

* Must demonstrate safe work habits according to Wolfe Electric Company, Inc.s policies and procedures .

* Practice and comprehend safe working procedures as outlined in the Wolfe Electric Company, Incs policies, and procedures.

* Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmission.

* Experience and comfortable driving with a trailer as necessary to deliver or return equipment and materials.

* Operate forklift and other related construction equipment.

* Read and interpret instructions and maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site, directions, and written instructions.

* Possess a willingness to learn.

* Positive attitude and sense of urgency as necessary for project support.

* Attend all Wolfe Electric Company, Incs training classes, including but not limited to O.S.H.A., ladder safety, forklift etc.

* Able to effectively communicate both oral and written.

* Effectively listen.

* Represents Wolfe Electric Co., Inc. in a positive and professional manner to demonstrate a positive company image that meets/exceeds customer standards and expectations.

**Work Environment & Physical Demands**

* Position requires working in all elements inside and outside, depending on job location, and time of year to include heat, cold, rain and snow.

* Employee must always have required personal tools with them.

* Climb and work from all type of ladders.

* Perform work at various heights, up to 60 from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks or other safe work areas.

* Wear PPE (Personal Projective Equipment) to include Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Ear Plugs in required areas and Work Gloves.

* Seatbelts are always required to be worn in vehicles per law and company policy.

* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.

* Lift to 50 pounds.

* Constantly move on feet.

* Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and gain access to all levels of the building, even if the only means of access is by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use.

* Must have experience and former certification driving a fork lift.

* Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week and overtime as required with occasional night shifts pending project schedule.

**Travel Required**

* Local to Job Sites between Omaha and Lincoln Warehouses/Offices

**Required Education and Experience**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* One (1) year of Forklift operation experience.

* One (1+) years experience driving with a trailer

* Experience as an Apprentice in Electrical Construction preferred but not required.

* One (1) year experience in Warehouse support preferred but not required.

* Intermediate understanding of shipping labels and freight claims.

* Basic math and measuring.

* Ability to read, speak and understand English to be able to comply with Safety Regulations, State and Local Electrical Code requirements as well as communicate effectively with co-workers, supply warehouses, office staff etc.

* Must be at least 18 years old.

* Must have own transportation to and from the warehouse and varying job sites.

* If applicant is offered a position, they must pass an employment physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.

* If applicant is offered a position, they must pass a background check.

**Licenses**

* Must provide a valid and current Nebraska drivers license or ID.

* Employee will be submitted for consideration to be insured by Wolfe Electric Companys Incs Liability Insurance company.
