The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a full caseload of personal injury cases and will be actively involved in all aspects of litigation from start to finish. Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and plans.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to personal injury law.
- Attend professional development and networking events to build relationships with other legal professionals and potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be barred and in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a personal injury attorney.
- Proven experience in civil litigation with a focus on personal injury cases.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
