Service Technician - Dubuque and Surrounding Area

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

This field service technician role is an integral part of our operations as they serve as both the face of our company and are responsible for delivering the world-class service that our customers have grown accustomed to. They will monitor daily call activity, call escalations, and technician needs to ensure we are meeting our customers’ expectations daily.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In order of importance – Include frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.)

• Quickly respond to dispatched service calls, providing remote and onsite support to customers
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs efficiently and effectively
• Utilize customer relationship skills to maintain a professional image
• Maintain accountability for parts inventory and company assets
• Provide unequaled customer service
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years related experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a customer-facing Field Service Technician position preferred
• Minimum one-year experience with electromechanical equipment servicing (ATM or banking equipment strongly preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of basic electronics
• Strong technical knowledge
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Clean driving record

• Effective customer and co-worker communication, both orally and in writing
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
• Possess the ability to manage and research assignments independently
