TDI Pain is seeking a dependable Medical Office Manager to join our Pain Management team. The Medical Office Manager will work directly with staff and patients daily to ensure that high quality services are being provided. The duties will range from various office, administrative, and clinical responsibilities, to ensure that the clinic is running efficiently. The Medical Office Manager will plan, organize, and monitor the work of the staff, coordinate workflows and implement appropriate systems, policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will recognize that our patients are our top priority and use excellent customer service while working with the clinic staff and management team to help resolve patient complaints, concerns and questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand HIPPA and follow appropriate privacy and security policies and procedures to maintain and protect patient information.
  • Direct clinical staff to help ensure daily operations are effectively delivered.
  • Understand the hiring process to help reduce staff turnover
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Collaborate with management team to implement operational and efficiency goals.

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coach employees to achieve maximal job performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field - strongly preferred
  • (3) years supervisory/manager experience with references - required
  • (5) years of experience in a medical field - preferred
  • Experience with patient admissions, scheduling, medical office operations - required
  • An understanding of how insurance and verification processes work - desired
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office, and EMR systems - required
  • Experience in Pain Management is a plus, but not required
  • 12 month contract  (annualy  contract)
