We are currently seeking CNC Milling Set Up Production Operators to work part time hours.

As a CNC Milling Set Up Production Operator at Regal Rexnord Cleveland your focus will be to:

  • Set up to operate vertical milling machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
  • Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
  • Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
  • Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
  • Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
  • Move completed material to next workstation.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
  • 6 months - 1-year related experience or training.
  • Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
  • Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
  • Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
