Summary

UNIT SUMMARY: The Critical Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a 9 bed; ratio of 1:1 for fresh cases and 1:2 after 4 hours post-surgery; daily interdisciplinary rounds; 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
 
JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the patient care team, the RNI provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
 
REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge in a specialized field. Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing. Less than 1 year of experience. Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association CPR Certification and ACLS.
