Travel Telemetry RN is needed to start ASAP for 13 weeks in a Hospital located in Texas. RN's will work Nights 7am-7pm. They have 2 Telemetry units. There are 48 beds on 615 and 37 beds on 605. They will see a variety of patients. Acuity of the patients: Med/Surg acuity but at some point patient becomes high acuity it will be transferred to ICU. They have drips but no titrations, no vented patients. They also have a PCA or CNA, Unit clerk, a monitor tech. In telemetry the monitor techs are able to watch the patient’s heart rate 24/7 while patients are asleep as compared to the Medical Surgical unit, they are not monitored. They have Charge Nurse with no patient load that can be the support and resource, This is one of the most popular states to travel in with lots of things to do and beautiful scenery.
