Your Opportunity:
Taymark, a Taylor Company, is looking for an Equipment Operator to operate a Zund Cutter, HP Wide Format or EFI Inkjet printerin our White Bear Lake, MN location.
Your Responsibilities:
- Reviews printing work orders for special instructions
- Ensures that production deadlines are met
- Prints and collates finished pages
- Ensures quality standards of printed products
- Reviews cutting work orders for special instructions
- Cuts and boxes finished work orders
- Ensures quality standards of cut products
- Cleans, services, adjusts, and makes routine equipment repairs
- Maintains records of production output
- Ensure required resources are available in order to complete job (cut files)
- Evaluate output and make adjustments to obtain a desired level of cut quality or image quality
- Respond appropriately to fault, error, and alert messages
- Contact and interface with customer support as necessary
- Monitor and report environmental changed that may impact equipment performance (humidity & temperature)
- Ensure proper paper handling, conditioning, and loading
Your Shift: 1st Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday
You Must Have:
- Previous printing or prepress experience preferred
- Basic mechanical abilities and motor skills
- Experience operating high volume, networked systems
- Desktop applications preferred
- High degree of math skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical ability
- Good reading ability
We Would Also Prefer:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Must have ability to work with very close tolerances
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- Analytical skills
- Good color discernment
