Reports To: Manager of Operations Reconcilement and Accounting
Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for reconciling and researching various Operations accounts within standard timeframes. The incumbent reduces risk by identifying out-of-balance situations researching root cause and creating adjusting entries to balance the account. The incumbent may need knowledge of various transaction processes and the ability to research and communicate with a variety of employees to resolve discrepancies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Gathers and compiles information from reports, statements and other sources to prepare and balance assigned reconcilements. Internal reconcilements include the general ledger or DDA account bank accounts and application balancing for Operations.
Researches overdue fund situations by gathering information from the outside sources to determine what adjustments are needed to collect on the funds and then submits the adjustments.
Sends written communications to other financial institutions requesting information or for the transfer of funds.
Processes information quickly, accurately and in an organized manner while maintaining the flexibility to multi-task and effectively prioritize.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
