Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift!

Our Client in Kent is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team! This client is committed to being a great place to work. They offer a fast-paced learning environment with plenty of opportunity to grow your career! Shift 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM. Pay $19.00-$23.00/hr+ based on experience. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair MIG and TIG welding equipment. Troubleshoot and repair various manufacturing equipment and machinery. Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment and machinery. Remodeling/repair of buildings and structures. Grounds maintenance. Demonstrates capability of multi-tasking effectively. Good communication skills. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Demonstrated safe working practices is essential. Ability to work flexible hours as needed and with short or no notice. Requirements 5+ years' experience with industrial maintenance Must have a strong electrical background. Must have HVAC experience. High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED). OSHA 10-Hour training preferred; 30-Hour training a plus. Experience using and/or maintaining fabrication and welding equipment. Strong knowledge of welding and cutting preferred. Strong electrical knowledge and training. Electrical and mechanical controls experience; PLC’s is a plus. Formal accredited skilled trade or technical training is a plus. Ability to bend, twist, climb, crawl and stoop repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Shop floor production and warehouse environments with noise, dust, moving machinery and high traffic.
