The Cost/Inventory Accountant takes ownership of inventory cost accounting, conducts analysis on gross margin, and manages various general ledger accounting functions. Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory accounting
- Analyze gross margin for revenue and cost recognition
- Prepare journal entries and accruals for month-end close
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including Received Not Invoiced and Prepaid Inventory
- Assist with annual financial audits and update policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience:
- 3+ years of cost accounting and general ledger experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
