Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Development Instructor to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develops and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees. Coordinates with SME’s, and staff officers to identify program needs and schedule programs. Assesses trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations. Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a STEM field or a minimum of four (4) years of full-time work experience in a related scientific or technical discipline shall be considered equivalent to Bachelors degree.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following: conducting software and systems engineering research, collecting technical requirements from cyber operators or other customers; programming experience with C, C++, Objective C, and Python, or similar scripting languages; demonstrated experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent software development field; demonstrated experience in vulnerability research and development; demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills, incl. expressing facts and complex technical ideas clearly, concisely, and accurately to a diverse audience.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience as a software developer applying DevOps.
  • Requires an Adult Learning Certificate (ALC) from Association for Talent Development (ATD), or an equivalent prior to first day of instruction.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in course delivery and instructing to include preparation of technical training courses using multiple methods of learning to include, but not limited to lecture, facilitated discussion, hands-on/experiential/scenario, CBT.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in developing and conducting training or education of personnel within cyber domain.
  • Demonstrated experience designing lessons and crafting lesson plans and/or instructor guides incorporating adult learning principles and all essential elements for instruction
  • A minimum of three (3) years Sponsor specific cyber operational technique experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and/or evaluating software development DevOps/DevSecOps in TS/SCI and unclassified environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in penetration testing and/or reverse engineering.


Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess and active Top Secret clearance.


Physical Requirements:
The person in this position will be expected to work at customer site in a classified environment for certain aspects of the role. In addition, the person in this position will be expected to spend some of their time providing instruction at an offsite, UNCLASS location.
