s looking for Service Technicians/Mechanics from Light to Medium Duty. If you have any mechanical experience, we will train you and find a place for you. You will be working on class 5- class 7 Trucks- Mainly Ford. Responsibilities – Truck Mechanic:

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc.
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
  • Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology.
  • Input all vehicle recommendations and complete check sheet in MPI.
  • Find pricing and availability of needed parts in the 'notes' section in MPI.
  • Report any damaged or defective equipment to management.
  • Report any safety issues to management and ensure a clean
  • working area.
  • Complete all required training.

 

Qualifications/Requirements – Truck Mechanic:

 

  • At least 2 years’ Mechanical experience is desired, but not required – we will train a mechanically-inclined individual.
  • Ford Certifications or any ASE certifications a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competency
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • Must be a persistent problem-solver
  • Must have the ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ASE Certification is a plus.
  • High level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.
  • Proven track record.
  • Strong record of positive CSI results.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
