Account Manager with Pharmaceutical Advertising experience
Long term Contract - 2 years
Hybrid- 3 days on-site/2 days remote in the Northern Suburbs

Please note, we have been informed by the client that one MUST have Pharma AND Agency experience to be considered for the role with no exceptions. Our global pharmaceutical client is seeking an Account Manager to join their growing team! The candidate will have an Account Management background in pharma and serve as the primary liaison between the ad agency and the brand teams. This person will be engaging with a variety of stakeholders on a day-to-day basis making things happen in an "agency like" environment.

Must have:

  • Pharmaceutical and advertising agency experience
  • Print and Digital experience- work includes sales aids, leave behinds, flash cards, emails, websites, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines including, but not limited to, corporate branding, promotional material development, PromoMats review and corporate compliance.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of accounts' (both U.S. and Global) product attributes, marketing objectives, target audience, competitive environment, market dynamics and medical/regulatory/legal position.
  • Collaborate with the brand team in development of creative briefs
  • Issue client contact reports to ensure key information is being quickly communicated to all involved stakeholders
  • Maintain an intimate understanding of the agency workflow process including project initiation and kickoff, collaboration, necessary approval, production and archiving
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Prioritize, multi-task and manage workload
  • Track time daily
  • Work in a high-volume, rapidly paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Communications or other related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Account Management experience in an agency environment, supporting pharma
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, presentation, written
  • High energy, positive attitude is a must!
  • Ability to manage high volume project scope in a fast-paced environment
  • Relationship building skills
