How You'll Make a Difference

You will develop, design and produce assigned graphic and/or illustrative material or media aligned with brand requirements and messages, and delivered to specified time and budget requirements. Includes concept, design, layout, approvals and sending files to print. Work products and projects include but are not limited to: brochures; event guides and folders; at-a-glance materials; certificates; print advertisement resizes; packaging materials; case studies; evites; presentation graphics; retouching images.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or equivalent degree. Relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five years experience in a business or agency environment; service and/or marketing organization preferred. Not for profit organization and global experience desired.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current graphic design tools and applications, incluidng success in utilizing tools to deliver better results.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of graphic design principles, practices and trends. Thorough understanding of offset printing, paper, and color spec requirements for high-end print.
  • Advanced creative and conceptual skills on Macintosh and PC platforms.
  • Demonstrated creative thinking, with the ability to envision a product from beginning to end.
  • Demonstrated experience with graphic design requirements and needs for online marketing, email marketing and website development.
  • Successful track record of meeting project design goals and deliverables for quality, timing and cost. Experience sourcing, directing and monitoring vendors.
  • Proven successful experience in multicultural or multilingual environments; multiple languages encouraged.
  • Design, preparation, and documentation of work plans; ability to see the big picture and report progress accordingly.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and sound business judgment in assessing and prioritizing multiple competing opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and finesse, including public speaking to small and large groups in ad-hoc and formal settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Effective meeting facilitation and consensus building.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent tasks, as well as prioritize actions as opportunities evolve.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment where conflicting priorities may threaten schedule and quality.
  • Ability to see the big picture and develop long range strategies while attending to details
  • Project management experience desired
  • Comfort with administrative processes and fulfillment of same.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products and internet proficiently while working remotely using laptop in a dynamic environment while traveling
  • Experience in dealing with sensitive, confidential materials and respect for same, with ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive organization topics and issues
  • Commitment to his/her own professional development and the development of others.
  • Knowledge, experience, and ability to travel, domestically and internationally, including weekends and/or holidays. Limited travel anticipated
