Pay rate: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Schedules available Sunday – Thursday:

  • 5:30am – 4:00pm
  • 4:00pm – 2:30am

The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes, and mills.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares each job in accordance with a job order, and verbal, or written instructions.
  • Performs timely set-ups, inserts cutting tools or tool holders, and positions tools on the turret.
  • Verifies accuracy of machined workpieces against drawings by using inspection tooling and gages.
  • Adjust program and tooling as needed to achieve the correct specifications.
  • Conducts first-piece and in-process inspections and removes burrs or excess metal from machined parts.
  • Fills out job orders and inspection paperwork and report any discrepancies to the supervisor/manager.
  • Adds coolant to reservoirs of machines and lubricates machine parts and ways.
  • Performs regular daily maintenance on equipment, tools, and gages and keeps the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, regular and consistent attendance, and can follow all safety protocols.

This position requires the candidate to have a high school or equivalent, 2-3 years or trade school, experience working in AS9100 approved manufacturing facility, a minimum of 4 years related experience, and mill and lathe setup experience is highly preferred. Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for the entire shift while being able to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
