The Role

Reporting to the CFO, as Director, Revenue Cycle, you will manage and oversee our external billing and collection provider and our internal team serving as liaison to that provider, including authorization, coding, billing, claims and collections. You will be responsible for maximizing productivity and minimizing errors using structured auditing and reporting methodologies combined with follow-up training. You'll also assume a strategic and practical role in the finance department to include day-to-day responsibility for billing processing and strategy, planning, management and analysis, and policy development.

The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Director, Revenue Cycle opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of revenue cycle experience with 3+ years of experience as a manager, director or equivalent.
  • Experience in an integrated health care system and supporting multiple locations.
  • A strong understanding of the revenue cycle for all payers, including daily and monthly closings.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating in an out-of-network environment, including negotiating single-case agreements with payers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities.
