Job Description

Seeking a dynamic and seasoned Sales Specialist with a focus on our Visa Digital Enablement Solutions (DES). The ideal candidate will have substantial sales and solutioning experience within the financial services and mobile banking sector. This candidate must be able to comprehend and navigate the unique opportunities presented by issuing clients. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including driving client facing conversations, securing sales opportunities, meeting revenue goals across digital B2B2C capabilities, and building robust relationships. The successful candidate should have a profound understanding of digital financial services, online/mobile banking, Fintech apps, and payment/issuer processing, The candidate should be adept at identifying reseller and channel partner opportunities and be able to define strategic solution for prospects and existing clients. The candidate must have a history of exceptional client-facing interactions.

Internally, the role requires collaboration with a diverse array of cross functional teams. These include, but not limited to, Generalist Sellers, Sales Engineers, Digital Partnership, Global/Regional Product, Legal, Commercialization, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities,

  • Accountable for driving and achieving revenue targets for Issuing Solutions Digital Enablement Solutions through acquisition of net-new customers or upsell to existing clients.
  • Partner with the Generalist Sales team to prepare proposals, presentations, and other sales materials that highlight Visa Digital Enablement Solutions' capabilities and advantages to address client needs.
  • Develop close relationships and collaboration with Generalist Account Executives and Account Managers to drive awareness of our Digital Enablement products and increase bookings.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to issuing clients.
  • Ability to successfully structure, negotiate and close deals, meeting client needs and revenue targets.
  • Deliver on-site and virtual sales pitches and client renewals through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Actively prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities across individual client, reseller, and partner opportunities.
  • Identify high-potential clients and establish relationships with key influencers within these organizations.
  • Ensure high-level of client/ prospect satisfaction through proactive outreach with relevant insights and regular follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates on sales activities in Microsoft Dynamics, offering Insight into market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams, including Global/Regional Product, Client Services, Finance and Technology, to ensure optimal client experience and continuous product improvement.
  • Promote an understanding of critical success factors to achieving issuing solutions revenue objectives.
  • Provide input into design and implementation of sales collateral, general marketing and promotional activities and materialsto ensure increased awareness of VAS objectives and priorities.
  • Engage with internal cross functional teams to provide market and client feedback to positively influence the design of future solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify market specific opportunities in close cooperation with local relationship management and product teams.

Unique Knowledge and Skills,

  • Exhibit extensive knowledge of the digital banking landscape, particularly the needs of issuers and Fintech mobile/online banking, emerging trends, customer requirements, and the unique operational and digital issuance challenges these clients encounter.
  • Establish and display a thorough knowledge of Visa's Digital Enablement Solutions, including the ability to describe how capabilities can solve issuing client and digital partner requirements.
  • Understand the multifaceted challenges clients face in delivering digital experiences across different consumer-oriented channels and guide clients on how to leverage Visa DES products to establish and improve solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, client engagement, relationship building, and persuasion skills, complemented by a strong proficiency in technical sales.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships across all levels of management.
  • Keen interest in innovation and technology.
  • Exceptional ability to manage & foster internal and external resources and cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in an environment synonymous with change.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Proven history in field sales or related role.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in financial services and digital enablement.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage large, complex deal negotiations with strategic clients.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence direction and change attitudes / decisions of senior level decision makers.
  • Strong understanding of the payment's ecosystem, specifically issuer side digital needs, including key players, partners, competition, and trends.
  • Proficient in CRM software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
  • Deep understanding of the digital banking ecosystem including, online/mobile banking, consumer facing B2B2C products.
  • Natural ability to understand and articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Confident speaker with ability to present, interact, and connect with executives and senior staff.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with developing and presenting analysis, finance, and reporting.
  • Ability to generate organizational momentum through creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to support and work across multiple time zones.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 253,800.00 to 300,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
