Are you looking for a part-time role, working for a fun, family-owned, local small business?

We are a local Real Estate and Construction Company, seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting, operational functions, and contracts. This is a 24-32 hours, 3-4 days a week opportunity.

Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this role, as well as great customer service and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, and is a self-starter.

Experience working in the construction and/or real estate industry is a plus!

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• A minimum of 3 years of QuickBooks experience is required.
• Experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and payroll reports, job costing, payroll & sales tax processing.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.
• Experience in services related to payroll and submitting payroll taxes.
• Strong understanding of business and income tax reporting, job costing, and financial statements.
