Position Title: Project Accountant/Controller
Salary & Benefits: Starting salary $85K - $105K based on experience.

Job Summary:
Seeking Project Accountant with intention to move into Controller role as company grows. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and would handle the majority of the day-to-day financial operations as well as update and manage project budgets.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing Budgets and Forecasts
- Updating job budgets and working with project managers on forecasting.
- Processing customer change order requests.
- Report job performance to management.
- Attend bi-weekly job review meetings.
- State & Local Tax Filings
- Maintain tax registrations for multiple states and local jurisdictions.
- Calculate and file monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly SALT obligations.
- Handle tax registrations for any new jurisdictions as they arise.
- Month End Financial Reporting
- Manage work in process report and post monthly entry.
- Balance sheet account reconciliations and month end journal entries.
- Rollup of financial statements for review.
- Update sales pipeline spreadsheet for monthly pipeline meetings.
- Excel Power User
- Build various reports/spreadsheets for other departments upon request.
- Train others on excel best practices and answer any excel related questions.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5+ years accounting experience.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
- Familiarity with various accounting platforms & ERP systems.
- Proficient and effective communicator with high attention to detail.
