With a focus on innovation and creativity, our team offers comprehensive services from project management and technical design to carpentry and metal fabrication. We are now looking to expand our team with a skilled 5-Axis CNC Programmer & Operator who shares our passion for excellence and innovation.


Role Purpose:

The CNC Production Manager manages the CNC department's daily operations, focusing on the efficient transformation of designs into finished products. This role requires coordinating closely with the Technical Design department and ensuring projects are ready for the next stages of production. The candidate should have strong technical and management skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage the CNC department's daily activities, including project scheduling, programming, and execution.

Work with the Technical Design department to translate drawings and specifications into CNC operations.

Oversee project progression from CNC processing to other production areas, such as carpentry or metalwork.

Ensure product quality meets company standards through regular quality control checks.

Perform maintenance and safety inspections on CNC equipment.

Lead and develop the CNC team, emphasizing skill improvement and efficient practices.

Keep up-to-date with CNC technology and software to enhance department productivity.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 5 years of CNC machining experience, including managing a team or department.

Skilled in AutoCAD, with experience in Rhino, VCarve, or similar software. Comfortable using Google Workspace for project management.

Capable of understanding and applying technical drawings and specifications.

Effective at leading a team and managing projects to completion.

A high school diploma or equivalent; additional CNC machining training preferred.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role is active, requiring standing for most of the day and the ability to lift 50 pounds. It involves working with materials like MDF, plywood, and other sheet goods in a job shop setting.
