Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Principal DSP and Communications Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop software-defined radio solutions. The role can be based in Cambridge, MA, or Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of DSP algorithms for communication systems
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop software defined radio solutions
• Research novel solutions to challenging communication systems
• Support business development efforts by writing proposals, white papers, and technical documents
• Deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor junior colleagues and support new technology development

Required Qualifications:

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field with 10+ years of experience
• Proven track record of designing and developing near-optimal and efficient DSP algorithms for communication systems
• Experience working with spread spectrum signals
• Knowledge of trade-offs between complexity, sensitivity, and robustness of signal processing algorithms
• Working knowledge of digital communication systems, channel coding algorithms, and modulation theory
• Experience with software defined radios
• Proficiency in prototyping, simulating, and testing systems in MATLAB

• Active security clearance required (SECRET)
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance required
