Summary of Position

SANS is seeking a seasoned Product Manager with prior B2B experience building enterprise solutions with customer level simplicity to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, strategy, and management of a suite of product capabilities and reporting services that provide our enterprise customers with the insights they need to train and secure their workforce.  We are looking for candidates with a growth mindset who are passionate about creating scalable, customer-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of driving growth for enterprise offerings, and possess technical aptitude, customer empathy, strong execution capability to deliver high impact business results in an agile environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap Development
    • Drive collaboration across teams to create and execute the product roadmap focused on enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Product-Led Growth Enablement
    • Partner with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to align business objectives and customer needs to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Customer Focused Requirement Gathering and Relationship Building
    • Identify and deeply understand customer pain points, document requirements, and define solutions to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Effectively communicate strategic initiatives and progress updates to key stakeholders including executives and leadership teams to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Critical Thinking & Analytical Skills
    • Ensure data, tracking, and reporting requirements are captured to improve business impact and return on investment.
    • Lead the improvement of functional capabilities on new and existing tech stacks and define datasets for enterprise customers that can be automated and deployed at scale.
  • Other Duties as Assigned


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering required. MBA preferred.
  • 5 + years of professional product management experience building and launching enterprise user-facing product solutions.
  • In-depth experience using Salesforce CRM and Snowflake
  • Self-starter who can navigate varying degrees of ambiguity with ease.
  • Master in proactive communication across teams, storytelling, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Expertise creating and managing product requirements in JIRA and Confluence including the ability to manage project boards at once.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and solve problems across organizational boundaries to deliver customer solutions.
  • Proven track record of working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders, practicing active listening, and taking a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities.
  • Passion for the customer, able to imagine new ways to solve problems and to deliver best in class experiences.
  • Experience working with UX/UI design and research teams to deliver products and experiences that delight customers.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual organization with some travel
  • Fluent in English, particularly in written communications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in cyber security/ data and analytics/ educational technology related fields.
  • Experience building enterprise reporting capabilities for Fortune 500 companies.
  • Experience working on compliance and integration initiatives such as ISO/SOC compliance and SSO integrations.
  • Certified/Trained in Pragmatic Product Marketing


Reporting Relationships

This position reports to the Head of Product Management and has no direct reports.

 

Work Environment

This position is full-time remote with the expectation the candidate works during US/EST business hours. Quarterly travel to company events and meetings is required.

The base salary range for this position is between $120-150k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
