Castle/Operations Supervisor - New Hampshire

Salary: Starting at $20 per hour

The Castle/Operations Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Event Managers in overseeing the daily operations of the Ice Castle.  Within their team, Supervisors will be expected to help foster a culture focused on providing an outstanding guest experience. Specific responsibilities include the following:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support the Event Managers with the hiring, training and management of all Event Staff.
• Schedule and manage employees on assigned team, including daily rotations and breaks.
• Conduct a daily pre-shift with assigned team to designate daily rotations and inform employees of any operational updates.
• Supervise operations related to assigned team by ensuring staff comply with company appearance standards, follow rules and regulations, remain engaged in their positions, and complete their daily tasks. 
• Ensure assigned team operates in accordance with company policies, including; safe conditions, equipment maintenance, proper and accurate signage and guest experience standards.
• Lead assigned team with a positive and enthusiastic approach in all aspects of guest interaction at all times.
• Assist employees when needed in a fast, friendly, and accurate manner
• Actively encourage and support new and innovative ideas from all team members on how to improve the team’s operations.
• Communicate operational challenges and employee-related issues, along with proposed solutions, with Event Managers.
• Work well with others, be a team player and set an example to all employees.
• Partners with event supervisors to maintain and support daily operation
• Expected to set a high example of professional behavior, including arriving to work on time, being patient with guests, emphasizing a “safety first” work environment, and displaying a positive attitude.

HOURS: Full time hours from the beginning of December through the end of the season.  Must be able to work evenings and weekends.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Required to work outside with various weather conditions.  Ability to stand for extended periods.  Must be able to respond to emergency situations. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.
