Pyramid Healthcare, an industry leader in behavioral healthcare, is excited to announce the opening of our new facility in West Virginia. At Pyramid Healthcare at Mountaineer we will be specializing in Substance Abuse/Mental Health Treatment. We have been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to our clients.
  • Consults with primary healthcare providers to ensure physical healthcare needs of clients are met.
  • Coordinates with medical staff of other providers such as state and inpatient facilities.

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience:
• Active medical license in West Virginia (FNP, CRNP, PA, PMHNP, etc.)
• One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting and must possess direct clinical training and work in the areas of substance use disorder treatment.

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

• A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body standards.


Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
