Job Summary: 

  

C & A Scientific is looking for a Sales Development Representative who is self-driven, hard-working, and competitive to join our Sales team. This individual would be responsible for identifying/pursuing new business opportunities and conducting the early stages of the sales cycle. This position would include a base salary with a competitive commission structure.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Learn about C & A Scientific’s products and how they create value for our customers.  
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential customers. 
  • Research and engage with new leads using prior knowledge of industry and contacts. 
  • Conduct outbound sales activities such as cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation methods. 
  • Engage prospects in impactful and relevant conversations to qualify potential sales opportunities and set up high-quality meetings with our managers.  
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.  

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. 
  • Proven outside sales experience is required. 
  • Experience managing sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach and prioritizing based on intent-signals. 
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales process, creating own strategies to hit goals. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other communication tools.  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Must have experience speaking with external customers. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  

  • Experience working in a scientific and/or educational industry.
