POSITION SUMMARYJoin our growing Breakthrough Sustainability team!

The Sustainability Solutions Manager will leverage transportation/supply chain knowledge paired with a solutions-oriented mindset to help scale new client onboarding and improve service delivery. This role is a critical link connecting the sales cycle with implementation and service delivery and will be contributing to ongoing development of end-to-end emissions management and sustainability solutions. Responsibilities are expected to grow and evolve with changing client needs and rapidly developing industry landscape.

This position can work in Green Bay, WI at our Breakthrough office or from a home/remote office within the US.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead onboarding initiatives for assigned sustainability clients from initial kick off through go-live.
  • Establish strong, professional relationships with key counterparts within assigned clients.
  • Manage project documentation, timeline, coordinate all related internal activities, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and develop best practices and recommend process improvement opportunities within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Build working knowledge of the Breakthrough sustainability solutions and technology platform that supports them.
  • Develop understanding of common emissions accounting and reporting frameworks (e.g. GLEC) and their role in Breakthrough sustainability solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within extended Breakthrough sustainability team for internal emissions calculations and reporting capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with various teams supporting sustainability clients.
  • Attend training and development opportunities to expand industry knowledge base

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Supply Chain, Sustainability or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain or Sustainability fields
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven proficiency with business applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, lead meetings, and present to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively develop and maintain cross-functional relationships and responsibilities
