DCS is looking for an experienced Logistician to assist an Army Project Manager located on Fort Belvoir to maintain Government property accountability.

Essential Job Functions:

Supports the performance of property receipt and tracking, property database entry and auditing, and transportation planning.

Supports implementation of the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for property accountability and asset visibility.

Provides services to include, but not limited to, preparing, monitoring and coordinating equipment requisitions and Materiel Release Orders for CONUS and OCONUS operations; updating DPAS and other relevant tracking systems including equipment shipping systems; furnishing supply status; identifying and resolving system problems; receiving, reviewing, processing and coordinating excess reports and listings; and providing associated technical and logistics studies/reports.

Performs procedures and techniques used to receive, store, transfer, issue, dispose of secondary items, provision for initial support and distribute/replenish the supported unit inventory.

Provides program management of a global supply chain from receipt of items at either of the Storage / Staging / Repackaging Facilities to the fielding of the items to gaining units and distribution to individual Soldiers within the gaining commands based on equipment lists, fielding schedule, fielding locations, and approved unit specific item list.

Ensures full compliance with Army property management requirements.

Use of SharePoint for documentation controls.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

High school and 10, Associates and 4 or Bachelors and 2 years of experience.

In-depth knowledge of Army Regulation 735-5, Property Accountability Policies and supporting Department of the Army Pamphlets.

Experience/familiarity with AESIP, LIW, FMSWeb, DPAS, and ISM-CIF.
