About Redlands Optometry Group

Established in the 1970s, Redlands Optometry Group is committed to providing an exceptional eye care experience to residents and families in San Bernardino County. The team of Optometrists offers family eye care, specialty contact lenses, dry eye treatment, LASIK consultations, and refractive surgery co-management. The practice is centrally located in Redlands and easily accessible from Interstate 10 and commuters traveling from major metropolitan areas. To help support business growth and expansion, the practice is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of ten employees.

Redlands Optometry Group is one of the largest practices in the area and is equipped with the latest vision technology available. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including optical coherence tomography, fundus photography, and visual field technology. Patients enjoy a high-end shopping experience as they browse a large selection of designer frames from a new dispensary that offers over 1,000 frames. Plus, patients receive personalized support from the Opticians who will ensure the proper fit for comfort aligned with fashion preferences.

About the Optometrist Position

Redlands Optometry Group is seeking a part-time Associate Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. You'll provide comprehensive patient care 16 to 24 hours a week-approximately 15 to 20 patients are cared for daily. A candidate with experience in scleral lenses will be a complementary addition to the team. The practice is looking for someone who has a solid ability to multitask, enjoys working on a team, and has a great personality.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong desire to learn and grow with the practice. Additionally, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. This candidate will also have an affinity for treating patients with glaucoma.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Optometry license in the state of California

Preferred qualifications include:

• Scleral lenses
• Likes to treat Glaucoma
