Pay Rate: $28.00-33.00 per hour. Contract

Shifts:

A shift (Monday-Friday, 7am -330pm)

B (Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 12:00 am)

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team you will be responsible for supporting the integration of various launch vehicle subassemblies. As an Inventory Analyst, you will identify, and confirm configurations of inventory items and acceptance for use, retrieve inventory for building production assembly kits, assist with placing in-bound materials into stock, and entering transactions for all material transfers. The role is multifunctional with knowledge needed in inventory management and coordination techniques.

Core Responsibilities:

* Meet daily as required with analyst team, project managers, and project engineers to set directions for work in the inventory area.

* Pull each stock item either off the shelf, into the aisle, relocate to designated inspection areas or as otherwise instructed and make parts ready to inspect by removal or access through packaging.

* Confirm the content and condition of stock item to accommodate a better knowledge of usable inventory and identify and segregate unusable inventory.

* Record the condition, count and any other observations associated with discreet inventory locations and the stock items therein in the provided tally mechanism.

* Replace stock items, organize and identify completed, accepted for use conditions.

* Interact with program managers and/or project engineers as required to remedy unknown conditions.

* Watch for opportunities to streamline the work being done to make things better, faster, cheaper and work within the team to drive improvements.

Qualifications:

* Valid drivers license and ability to drive a box truck

* Fork lift experience / certification desired but not required

* Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position

* Know-how or willingness to learn and utilize powered lifting or transporting equipment

* Computer savvy or drive to learn light software entry with experience in MS Office desired

* Minimum of high school diploma or GED

* Must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work

Desired Skills:

* Excellent communication, both written and oral

* Knowledge and experience reading basic engineering drawings and related documents

* Experience with inventory control methods, packaging, preservation, identification, transportation, inspection, counting, bins, pallets, shelving systems, vertical carousels.
