About this job

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Appling, Georgia. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of materials, ensuring that the right parts are delivered to the production line, inventory is prepped for shipment, and materials are handled safely. If you are comfortable reading labels, using hand and power tools, standing for the duration of your shift, and can lift up to 50 pounds, we encourage you to apply for this position.

1st Shift is currently running from 6am-3pm
2nd Shift is currently running from 3pm-12am
3rd shift is running from 5pm-6am.

Responsibilities:
Read labels and identify materials accurately.
Locate and pull parts to deliver to the production line.
Prepare inventory for shipment, ensuring items are properly packaged and labeled.
Occasionally use hand and power tools for tasks as needed.
Stand for the duration of your shift and maintain an active presence on the work floor.
Safely lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Comfortable reading labels and identifying materials.
Ability to use hand and power tools as necessary.
Physical capability to stand for the duration of your shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety in material handling.
Previous experience as a Material Handler is a plus.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma, GED, or higher education degree
Six months of industrial work experience
