EHC is currently looking for a Manufacturing Inspector for a client located in Orange, TX.
Monday – Friday
8-10 hours/day
Possibility of the position moving to a shift schedule at 12-hours/day
Salary range is $20+/hour, DOE
Position Purpose/Summary
The Manufacturing Inspector is committed to supporting our client as they continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by using various gauges and other tolerance equipment to make sure machined parts are to specifications.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/prints in order to be able to inspect manufactured parts.
- Inspect manufactured parts for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards while ensuring print tolerances are as expected.
- Record inspection data as needed in a legible format.
- Use required tolerance equipment and tools as necessary.
- Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
At a minimum, the Manufacturing Inspector must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of experience as a Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector and proven ability to read prints. Associate's degree in machining or related field of study, or trade school graduate along with prior Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector experience is highly preferred.
