Job Description
LOD is currently seeking contract Legal Recruiting Coordinator for a hybrid assignment (3 days in office, at least) in Washington, DC.
This role is expected to last at least one month and will pay $23-26/hour based on experience.
The successful candidate must be able to start immediately as this is an active contract need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Talent team and firm’s attorney, summer associate, specialist, and Pre-Law Fellow hiring efforts.
- Some general administrative duties.
- Scheduling interviews, onboarding, and orientations for new hires.
- Prepare offer letters, collect interview feedback, review resumes, assist with searches, and some summer program planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year in a law firm setting required. Experience with ViRecruit ideal.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to foster and maintain cohesive working relationships.
- Basic organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage workload to meet specific timeframes and deadlines.
- Developed writing and communication skills.
LOD offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
