CLIENT HIGHLIGHT
The Client you will be working for is a Fortune 150 global leader in the Renewable Energy industry. They specialize in Utility Scale Wind and Solar Development. COMPENSATION
$900+ per day
SCHEDULE
4 weeks on & 4 weeks off
12-hour days during rotation
Start Date: May 1 & June 1
EXPENDITURES
National flights are expensed
If onshore work is required and the consultant cannot stay home due to distance, client will reimburse costs for reasonable lodging.
Offshore work: Consultant will be accommodated on a vessel. Client pays for a hotel nearby the location of departure the day before, if travel to site on same date is not possible.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Client Representative WTG Foundations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an accurate record of activities daily, throughout the execution phase
- Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor
- Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality
- Act, behave, and lead by example according to client values
- Maintain a very high focus on safety throughout the complete installation
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) as required
- Review and understand Risk Assessments/Method Statements and QHSE documents as required before the execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out safely to the required quality
- During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so
- Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives and Contractor organizations
- Participate in the relevant inspections and complete and submit handover documentation.
DELIVERABLES
- Daily recording of execution onboard contractors installation vessels
- DPRs
- Walkdown reports
- Handover documentation
- The Client Rep. will conduct visual inspection of the offshore Work in progress and monitor that it is carried out as per the approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- The Client Rep. has no contractual authority, except for the authority to intervene or stop the operation in case of safety, quality infringements or the procedures not being followed by the Contractor
REQUIREMENTS
- GWO Basic Safety Training: (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
- OGUK Medical certificate including Chester Step Test or approved equivalent.
- IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet).
- High focus on quality and safety.
- Speaks, reads, and writes English fluently
- Can do attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to speak your mind while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Address in the United States
OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Marine/Offshore operational experience.
- Must have worked offshore on a working vessel in either the renewable sector or within oil and gas construction.
- Recommended to have a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within onshore or offshore construction, preferably with foundation or WTG’s (wind turbine generators).
- Experience in heavy lifts, transporting heavy loads, load-outs, pile driving
- Experience with quality inspections and documentation
- Having been employed by an installation contractor (for example only: Helix Robotics, Deep Ocean/CTC marine, CT Offshore, DEME Group, Fugro, Global Marine Systems, Prysmian, Pharos Offshore, etc.)
CONTRACT TERM
4 months with high likelihood of extension or conversion
