Senior Drafter/GIS Tech

Looking for a Senior Drafter/GIS Tech.

In-depth skills and knowledge in current versions of AutoCAD, REVIT (BIM), and/or Civil3D drafting software is highly preferred as well as a demonstrated working knowledge of GIS software, especially ArcGIS software suite.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing range of GIS services in support of project needs
• Translate designs for a variety of disciplines into electronic drawings from concept design through the contract document phase using modern electronic drafting software.
• Perform GIS tasks under general supervision using industry accepted standards and procedures.
• Provide GIS-related services to this and other departments, and possibly other public entities
• Conduct surveying and mapping duties
• Provide analysis and/or spatial data modeling, create maps and verify accuracy and completeness of topographical maps
• Provide tech support on the maintenance, development, and operation of regional GIS model of the facilities.

This is a full time position Monday thru Friday with pay starting at $26-$44/HR depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Associates degree or Certificate in Drafting Technologies
• Minimum of 5 years significant technical electronic drafting experience
• Credentialling in GIS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
