Job summary: Work within a multi-functional team to design and develop Computer-Based Training (CBT) for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT), with classroom and mobile delivery modes. Give special attention to direction, art requirements, and revisions for all graphic elements. Collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional systems designers, multimedia developers, artists, systems/software engineers, and Navy stakeholders to develop and deliver courseware.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create 2D art and all other graphics including adjusting photographs, creating photo-like images from line-drawings and/or poor-quality photographs, and re-creating line drawings
  • Possess proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, (Prefer additional proficiency in Adobe Animate, After Effects, or Premier)
  • Create and manipulate advanced scripts within Animate
  • Adjust and manipulate photos as needed in Photoshop
  • Recreate line-drawings/technical drawings in Illustrator
  • Navigate a computer network to obtain and/or deliver graphics
  • Receive and incorporate feedback to refine and enhance the final output
  • Possess basic understanding of coding languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance multimedia projects
  • Ensure exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess excellent oral, written, and visual communication for effective collaboration with other artists, programmers, Instructional Systems Designers, and Subject Matter Experts
  • Balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Be flexible with work assignments and work with little to no supervision
  • Possess a creative approach to problem-solving and able to meet deadlines
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned and needed

Skills and Qualifications:

· Education: A.A. or A.S. in Graphic Design or related

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

· Proven ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

· Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail

· Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills

· Demonstrated presentation skills

· Capable of working in multidiscipline team environment.

· Capable of working with stakeholders at all levels

· Proven proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

· Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
