Junior Records Management Analyst

Description:

Zen Strategics, a niche Cyber Security and Records Management/CUI firm is looking for a Junior Records Management Analyst capable of reviewing recordkeeping requirements and reports to determine if they are recordkeeping risk, specialized experience include digitizing hard copy records to meet NARA’s updated digitizing standards, editing, drafting, and writing file plans, training agency personnel on using records management tools, performing a wide variety of analytical studies and projects related to records management improvement, developing internal SOPs for day-to-day record management processes, researching and retrieving information for FOIA request, communicating with Federal Records Center staff for record storage updates, lifting and moving boxes of records in the weight range of 20-30 lbs., preparing records for transfers to off-site facilities, adding metadata to the records stored in eRecords upon request of the COR and Program Manager, conducting records assessments and various inventories with records management program leads.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or a records certification or equivalent
• 3 years of experience with a minimum 1 year of experience in Records Disposition and Records Management Regulations & Experience with NARA)
• Experience in all phases of disposition per Federal regulations and guidelines, including maintaining and scheduling records, and retiring records
• Experience in records review, records inventories, developing vital records schedules, and evaluation of existing records management procedures
