A new independently owned and operated Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting franchisee is seeking to hire an experienced Painter with a minimum of 5 years of experience (preferred). Candidate must be able to work at production shop pace and demonstrate concern for quality workmanship. Experience in single stage and base coat/clear coat finishes is preferred. Dependability and ability to adapt are necessary for the right candidate. I-Car and OE certifications and leadership skills are a plus. Workdays and hours are Monday - Friday 8 to 5. No weekends! Responsibilities - Auto Body Painter:

• Prepare vehicle for paint, mix and test paint colors, and paint auto parts, panels, body, etc.
• Monitor painting, identify flaws and correct them
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality workmanship
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Requirements - Auto Body Painter:

• 5 years of Auto Body Painter experience is preferred
• Experience in single stage and base coat/clear coat finishes is preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Detail oriented
• Valid driver's license 
• High school diploma or equivalent
