HR Generalist

The Opportunity:
Picarro is seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including (but not limited to) recruiting coordination, onboarding, office administration, HR data management, leave of absence tracking, and communicating company policies and practices. This position reports to the HR Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to employee changes, onboarding, talent acquisition, and training and development.
- Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team member.
- Manage all office administration-related tasks; this may include cubicle assignment, managing corporate mail/voicemails, the company lunch program, corporate apartment reservations, etc. in conjunction with Facilities.
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory training. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, etc.
- Manage compliance around COVID-19 protocols.
- Manage new hire onboarding and new hire orientation, including US employees, international employees, and contractors.
- Manage talent acquisition-related trackers, such as open requisitions, Plan of Record annual hiring plans, etc.
- Manage employee recognition programs, including service awards.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Participate in additional HR-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization's HRIS (BambooHR) and ATS (Paycor).
- High attention to detail; data-driven.
- Ability to work without constant oversight; ability to manage own tasks with minimal guidance.
- Ability to communicate to employees at all levels in the company.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within the HR team and with cross-functional teams.
Salary & Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $85,000. You base salary and title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, knowledge, level, and pay of other employees in similar positions.
