Pool Side Bartender

If you answered yes to all the questions above, then you should know Congressional Country Club is seeking Seasonal Bartenders Poolside. The Poolside Bartenders will work in the Club's Pavilion Pool area.

Congressional Country Club is looking for Team Members who believe the impossible is possible. Driven to continuously make a positive impact on the organization and believe that as a team we accomplish more.

What will be expected of you:

• Provide immediate and continuous service and attention to all members/guests upon seating, introduce yourself, and request member club numbers.
• Mix, prepare, serve, and upsell drinks to members, and guests. Also, prepare drinks for the service bar for the restaurant's floor servers.
• Set up and complete assigned side work, including inspecting all tables and bar areas in the assigned section.
• Place orders with the kitchen through Jonas POS. Inform chefs/cooks about any special cooking instructions and or food allergies.
• Reset the tables bar area in your station and assist team members with their station.
• Verify the accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks.
• Keep tables, FOH restaurant, and BOH clean at all times.
• Advise supervisor/manager of any complaints and take action to resolve complaints.
• Perform clean-up, side work, and closing duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by supervisor/manager.
• Full availability required - to include, weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.

How we determine your qualifications:

• 2 years experience bartending, preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of cocktails and mixology required
• 2 years of hospitality experience, preferred
• TIPS or equivalent certification preferred
• Must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol in the State of MD
