We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in DeFuniak Springs, FLto join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Description:

  • Full Time
  • Elementary Caseload
  • No Bus Riding
  • Santa Rosa Beach position
    • Requires management of g-tube, suctioning, self-care and monitoring of seizure activity
  • Freeport position
    • Requires monitoring and responding to seizure activity

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and condition, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
