We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in DeFuniak Springs, FLto join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Description:
- Full Time
- Elementary Caseload
- No Bus Riding
- Santa Rosa Beach position
- Requires management of g-tube, suctioning, self-care and monitoring of seizure activity
- Freeport position
- Requires monitoring and responding to seizure activity
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
