Position Overview:

As a Contract Speech Pathologist Assistant at Soliant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering top-quality therapy services to our patients. This contract position offers flexibility and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in various healthcare settings, all while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Support: Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide direct patient care. Assist in assessments, therapy sessions, and treatment planning.

2. Therapeutic Activities: Administer therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve speech, language, and munication skills.

3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in pliance with regulatory standards.

4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the therapy team, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

5. Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to facilitate munication progress both during therapy sessions and at home.

6. pliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing speech therapy practices.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech Pathologist Assistant (SPA) in Kentucky.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.

Contract Details:

• Contract duration: Full time
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• pensation: petitive hourly rate
• Location: Various schools within the district
