Our client, a global eCommerce leader, is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to join their team. As a Cable Installation Technician, you will be part of the Infrastructure Delivery Team supporting cable installations across the Columbus, OH region. Pay Range: $25/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

• Our Client is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician. Our Infrastructure team is responsible for day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management.
• This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices.
• By applying to this position your application will be considered for all locations we hire for in Ohio. This includes, but is not limited to: OH (Hilliard, New Albany, Dublin). This position requires the successful candidate report to a site location.
• You will work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
• You will launch cutting edge server technologies and solve diverse networking impairments.
• You will quickly and accurately assess a wide range of infrastructure issues, which requires a good understanding of computers, servers, switches and various networking devices from both a hardware and software perspective and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology.

• Cabling, data center, infrastructure experience
• Basic computer knowledge, MS Suite
• Military experience preferred
• Open, hungry to learn, great work ethic, eye for high quality
• Go-getter, proactive
