Job Title: Electrical Infrastructure Support Technician
Day Shift A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)
Location: Onsite, ALDIE VA
Contract: 6-18 Months
Pay Range: $40/hr. - $45/hr.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Support Technician with the ability to perform tasks outlined in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description. The role involves supporting electrical infrastructures across our datacenter campus, encompassing single large-capacity facilities to multiple smaller ones. The ideal candidate will have experience with building management systems (EPMS), Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown, and a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description.
  • Support electrical infrastructures in the datacenter campus.
  • Execute Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of one source while maintaining critical load through another (N).
  • Conduct PDU shutdowns for power meter replacement.
  • Perform Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
  • Handle master controller shutdown or replacement.
  • Bring previous datacenter experience to enhance team capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Qualified Electrical Worker.
  • Required: OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
  • Experience with electrical systems in high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments (e.g., data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing).
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
