POSITION SUMMARY:

Sugarbush Resort is seeking temporary Monday-Thursday Ski & Boot Valet Attendants for our Spring season. Come join us a half hour before lifts open, until a half hour after they close from now until the end of the season! The right person could be assigned a different department following this assignment if desired. Ski & Boot Valet Attendants provide friendly assistance as guests check their equipment in and out. Through superior customer service, communication, and organizational skills, valets maintain a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently and accurately managing storage areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Valet Attendants manage ski/ride equipment and serve as an information source for guests.
  • Duties include greeting guests, checking equipment in/out, processing any charges for products and services, answering guest questions and providing information about Sugarbush Resort and the Mad River Valley.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
  • Requires the ability to multi-task efficiently while always exhibiting a professional demeanor through an outgoing and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong communication skills with a variety of people are essential
  • Experience in a mountain recreational environment is preferred
  • Candidates should have a basic familiarity with utilizing computer systems; experience in cash handling/recording is a plus
  • Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalency diploma
  • Requires availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Work shifts Monday-Thursday
