Job Summary: Nemsys, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Account Manager. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and building strong relationships with clients. Your expertise and strategic insights will contribute to the overall success of our clients' IT infrastructure, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Key Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, challenges, and IT requirements, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop strategic IT plans aligned with their business goals, identifying opportunities for value-added solutions and services.
- Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of IT services, solutions, and support to clients, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and client satisfaction.
- Account Growth: Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling additional services or solutions to drive revenue growth and increase client value. Price, quote, and organize onboarding of new services.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with the account management team to negotiate contract renewals, pricing, and terms that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Issue Resolution: Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner, coordinating with internal teams to provide satisfactory resolutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on client satisfaction, account performance, and key metrics, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.
- Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the IT services sector, leveraging this knowledge to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
- Project Management: Apply project management principles and methodologies to effectively manage client initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of services.
- Procurement of standards assets purchased for the operations.
- Assist with new sales operations including outbound prospecting and deal closing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior-level account management or client-facing role within the IT services industry, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing client accounts, achieving sales targets, and driving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at various organizational levels.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, software, and services commonly used in business environments.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and client satisfaction goals.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Preferred project management experience, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects.
